PING (Power In Numbers Group) is a collective movement focused on uplifting and empowering Black communities. By pooling our resources, we aim to support Black-owned businesses, provide affordable housing, create safe spaces for our youth, and invest in entrepreneurship. Our mission is to bring about real, immediate change through group economics.
PING members contribute just $10 a month. These contributions are combined to create a powerful fund that is reinvested directly back into our communities. The funds are used to support initiatives like small business grants, affordable housing, educational programs, and more, with every dollar staying within our community.
No, PING memberships are not tax-deductible. We are not a non-profit organization because we believe in having full control over how funds are allocated to best serve our community without government restrictions. This independence allows us to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of our people.

Your $10 monthly contribution is pooled with other members' funds to make a substantial impact. We will use these resources to provide:
-
Emergency Financial Assistance: We provide short-term financial support for urgent needs like rent, utilities, or unexpected medical expenses to prevent hardship.
-
Small Business Development: Our programs include microloans, grants, and business mentorship to help Black entrepreneurs start, grow, and sustain their businesses. We also host community markets and pop-up shops to showcase and support Black-owned businesses.
-
Job Creation & Skill Development: By collaborating with local businesses, we connect individuals with job opportunities, offer skills training workshops, and provide paid internships to the community’s youth.
-
Affordable Housing & Community Revitalization: We focus on creating affordable housing, offering down payment assistance, and renovating abandoned properties to create safe and beautiful living spaces.
-
Educational Grants & Scholarships: PING invests in education by providing scholarships for college-bound students, educational stipends, and professional development grants for adult learners.
-
Youth & Family Support Programs: From mentorship for at-risk youth to resources for single-parent households, we aim to uplift Black families through community support and outreach.
-
Emergency Relief in Crisis Situations: In times of natural disasters or unforeseen emergencies, we offer temporary housing, food distribution, and financial support to impacted families.
-
Community Engagement & Mental Wellness: We believe in the importance of mental health and community well-being. Our programs include therapy support, community events, and wellness workshops to foster a sense of unity and resilience.
